Terms of Use – Weed Empire

1. Scope and provider

These terms apply to the online features of Weed Empire: account, cloud save, online leaderboard, monthly ranking, reports and feedback. Buying, downloading and refunds are governed by the terms of the store you use (Google Play, Steam). Provider: see Imprint.

2. The game

Weed Empire is a fictional tycoon game for adults (18+). It contains no instructions for real cultivation, trade or consumption and does not encourage them. In-game currencies, items and rewards have no monetary value; they cannot be cashed out, sold or transferred.

3. Purchase and refunds

Purchase, payment and refunds are handled by the store where you bought the game, and its refund rules apply – currently on Google Play a refund within 48 hours directly via Google Play, and on Steam within 14 days with less than 2 hours of playtime. After that, contact us directly – we look at every case. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no hidden costs. Your statutory rights (e.g. warranty) remain unaffected.

4. Account

An account is optional; the game works without one. You must be at least 18 years old. One account per person is allowed for the leaderboard. Keep your password secret. There is no right to a particular player name.

5. Player names

Names that insult, discriminate, contain sexual or violent content, advertise, use third-party brands or names of real people, or suggest that you are part of the Weed Empire team are not allowed.

6. Fair play

Cheats, bots, modifying your save, device clock or the app, using several accounts to influence the leaderboard or monthly ranking, attacking the server and exploiting bugs are not allowed. Please report bugs you find via Feedback or Discord.

7. Measures

If these terms are broken, we may hide entries, revoke monthly ranking rewards, exclude accounts from the leaderboard or ban them. The game on your device remains playable. If you think a measure is wrong, email us – we will review it.

8. Monthly ranking

At the end of each month (UTC), ranks 1–3 of the leaderboard by Empire score are recorded. Rewards are in-game only. There is no legal claim to a reward; it is forfeited in case of manipulation. We may change the rules and rewards for future months.

9. Availability

We aim for smooth operation but cannot guarantee that the online features are always available (e.g. maintenance or outages at our host). Online features may be changed or discontinued; we announce major changes in advance in the game or on Discord. The game itself remains playable without the online features.

10. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health and under the German Product Liability Act. For slightly negligent breaches of an essential obligation, liability is limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise, liability for slight negligence is excluded.

11. Changes and termination

If these terms change significantly, we will point this out in the game. You can delete your account at any time in the game or on the delete account page.

12. Law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
